“700 students from SVM International School run a Minithon”

 

SVM International School organized ‘Minithon 2017’ with 700 students participation of English Primary.

The first race for school students was flagged off from ‘Samarth Vyayam Mandir, Shivaji Park, Dadar(W) by our chief guest Shri Tejas Satish Shiraskar [Kho –Kho player] winner of Chhatrapati Krida award with Hon.chairman Shri Ghanekar sir , Committee members Shri Sangar sir , Shri Patil sir,Smt.Mokashi Madam,Teaching,non teaching staff accompanied the event.It was held under supervision of Dr. Shanbaug and Dr. Ranjeet Agarwal.

Students ran the Minithon rout,which had a chain of teachers,P.T.A. members,parents,volunteers and std IX students volunteers from SVM International secondary section.

In accordance to contribute for the cleanliness drive (Swachha Bharat Abhiyan), As a responsible citizen its our small step and duty to inculcate cleanliness and importance of sports , its advantages for today’s changing lifestyle to maintain good health and hygine.

The chairman and committee members belive that this ‘Minithon’ is a tribute to all the athletes throughout Mumbai such ‘Minithon’ promote an interest in sports in the minds of youth.

The second part of the event was promoting the message of cleanliness (Swachha Bharat Abhiyan) for all citizens.The event was winded up by National Anthem.
